Phoenix Pool Events for your Family this June 2011

Summer is a time to get together as a family and have some fun! There are some great pool-related events in the Phoenix area for you family that cost very little or are free!


Fiesta del Agua

Cigna HealthCare of Arizona holds its summer kickoff for kids 5-15. The first 500 kids swim for free. Buddy Bear mascot attends. Activities include safety demonstrations, CPR tips from Phoenix Fire Department personnel and health tips from Cigna. Information is provided in English and Spanish.

Itty Bitty Beach Party

A poolside party is held for parents with toddlers and preschoolers to age 6. Among the activities are a puppet show, safety lessons, health tips from Cigna HealthCare of Arizona and Cigna Medical Group CareToday. Dance and swimsuit contests are held, Hawaiian leis are featured, and refreshments are served.

A Night at Folley

Activities include games, a treasure hunt and a “biggest splash” contest. A longest
free-throw shot contest is held for older youth and adults.
